Clarity as an Intervention

45–60 minute keynote, breakout, or virtual presentation

Organizations are often very good at solving the problem they think they have. But what happens when that isn’t the real problem?

Through real-world stories, Dr. Toney Welborn explores how questioning assumptions, following variation, and looking for the story behind the data can reveal what is actually driving organizational results.

Audiences discover why understanding the problem may be the most important intervention before deciding what to do next.

Organizational Systems Thinking 101

90-minute interactive, in-person workshop

What happens when everyone is doing their job, but the organization still isn’t getting the results it expects?

Participants explore a realistic healthcare problem from multiple organizational perspectives, uncovering how data, processes, incentives, workarounds, and human behavior interact.

Through this interactive experience, participants learn to look beyond individual departments, recognize unintended consequences, and bring different pieces of the story together to identify the problem behind the problem.
